Curious Tales

Book cover design October ‘20

CT+promo1.jpg

I had the privilege of creating the book cover for this collection of short stories, released on December 24th 2020. It was exciting to work on such a fun project, I was let loose to design a cover that represented the essence of both of the stories. You can find out more about the book by clicking here

The Sunday Times Style Magazine, Jan 5th 2020

Horoscopes illustration x 4

Start the new year with a bang they say…

well that’s exactly what I did!

I was over the moon to be asked once again to create a body of work to encompass this year’s horoscope predictions for The Sunday Times Style Magazine, which came out on 5th January 2020. It was a fun challenge to work away from my normal vintage styles to create imagery that encompassed both Style Magazine’s essence and my own unique cut and paste charm. Let’s hope what I was predicted is true ;)

The Speed of Sound

Album art, 2019

EP sq.jpg

It’s not about what you know…

It’s about being in the right place at the right time

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting John at Levenshulme Market at the start of 2019 and we became good friends, he commissioned me to create a run of album art for his band The Speed of Sound. This has been an exciting project working with his visions and creating a body of work that flows together. I currently can’t show you the rest of the images as they are unreleased, but as soon as they drop I’ll pop them here for you to see.

Manchester Series, Selina

Northern Quarter, Manchester

The power of community…

and Instagram hashtags

In Summer 2019, I was asked by Selina to create a body of eight pieces revolving around Manchester; I chose to create a surreal series focusing on famous landmarks and the local community. This unique project brief gave me the opportunity to research Manchester’s rich cultural history, and so each of my pieces tells a story about the city I love!

.A fun project that gave me the opportunity to research Manchester’s rich cultural history and extended my ability to work from a concentrated brief. Most of these pieces are presented within the bespoke hotel and hostel right in the centre of the Northern Quarter, with a couple in Wilson Social (both located on Stevenson Square).

All of these designs are available to purchase from my shop
